3. Select a previous version of the published page from the list of available pages. Contribute
will display the page in the Preview section.
4. If the page you selected is the one you want to publish (i.e. roll back to), click the Roll Back
button and Contribute will replace the currently published version of the page with the
previously published version that you selected.
The page that is replaced by the Roll Back procedure will appear in the Roll Back Page dialogue box
the next time it is accessed enabling you to roll back to that version if necessary.
Locking/Check in-Check out
In order to avoid multiple people editing the same page at the same time, Contribute employs a
Locking mechanism. When a person selects to edit a page in Contribute or Dreamweaver, the file is
marked as Checked Out and Locked so that no other users can edit the page simultaneously. If you
browse to a page that another user currently has checked out, Contribute will display a message
telling you that the file is currently being edited, as well as telling you who is editing the page, and
the Edit Page button will be greyed out (Figure 22).
