226 Use the Data Management Service
Run the completed notes application
In this section, you run the completed notes application in two browser windows to see
automatic updates in one window when data is changed in the other.
1. Run the application in two browser windows.
2. Make sure both instances of the application look like those in the following example.
Resize the browser windows so that you can see both instances of the application at the
same time.

3. In one of the browser windows, type a new line of text in the text area and click the Send
button.
Your change should update the application that is running in the other browser window.
4. In the second window, type additional text and click the Send button.
The change should be appended to the text already displayed in the application that is
running in the other browser window.
