Viewing Your Web Site on the Web

1. Open your browser (Netscape or Internet Explorer).

2. In the location box, type in the following URL:

http://www.calpoly.edu/~lfose/mx2004_website

(Except change the name “lfose” to

your own alias name. Your alias in UNIX at Cal Poly is the first initial of your first name

plus your last name, up to 8 letters total)

3. If everything went well, you should see your index.html page that was created in this

tutorial.

4. The last step is to check all your links to make sure they really work!

You now have functional web pages!
